Abstracts
Submission Deadline: October 7, 2005.
Please note: A select number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. The remaining will be presented at the Poster Sessions.
Preparing your abstract
Please submit your abstracts to Karen Gieg, via either email at Karen.Gieg@vanderbilt.edu or by fax at (615) 936-3910. You will receive an acknowledgement email once received.
Abstracts should be 250 words or less. Abstracts may contain one or more graphics.
Be sure to collect your author names and complete affiliations. You will also need complete contact information, including an email address and phone number for the principal author.
Each author who has included an email address when submitting the abstract will receive an email confirmation that the abstract has been submitted.
Guidelines for Abstracts
Please use the following format in the preparation of your abstract:

A select number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation. The remaining will be presented at the Poster Sessions.
You will receive electronic notification of your abstract's acceptance once it has been approved. At the same time you will be notified whether you will be presenting orally or at the Poster Sessions.
Abstracts will be submitted to the Abstract Competition Award Committee. Following their recommendations, both SEPS and SESOT will be choosing the top three posters for monetary prizes. The first place posters will receive $150; the second place posters will receive $75; and the third place posters will receive $25.
After the September 15th deadline, you will no longer be able to modify your abstract. Your session organizer or program chair may still be able to update your abstract (depending on the date), so if you have changes after the closing, please contact your program officials.
